Don't ask, don't tell

Our country is said to be the land of the free and home of the brave. If a person is a law abiding citizen who is willing to fight for for our country and put their lives on the line to defend our honor, they should have that right. A person's sexual orientation is hardly relevant as far as I am concerned. As for the don't ask, don't tell policy, I think it should remain in place. Even if they do not admit it, their are probably a large number of higher-ups in the military who do not approve of homosexuality. If the soldiers are open about being gay, they may be at greater risk for having issues with those people. Sexuality is just not appropriate in a workplace, and that is essentially what we are talking about here.
